Great Auction Site

I like to save money and I am sure you do to. I also like to make money. So whenever I find any money saving places that can also help you make money..You know Ill be posting it here.
I use to sell stuff on EBAY, but I noticed that I wasn't really making any money. The rising cost of posting items was just getting to steep for me. So when WHAM auction site came along, of course I was skeptical. One they are new, two the cost would be to steep and would it really be worth it?
Well, I soon discovered that the posting fees are really affordable 10 cents for 10 days and I could also open up an estore for only $1.00 per month. Now that I could do! I gave it a try and wow, it really works.
Althought the site is relatively new a lot of money is going into it advertisement and WAHMS (work at home moms/dads) really support this site. Plus every Monday they offer an auction chat where you can sell, barter, trade and network. We have lots of fun and every now and then they play a game and offer great prizes.
Its really well worth the money...well like I always say...seeing is believing.

School Bullying

My son is returning to school next week and my anxiety level is reaching max. We had a rough time last year with school bullying. Another child had attacked my son on the school bus. He came home with a black eye, broken glasses and a bloody nose. He was also really angry. He was angry not because of what happened but because he let the kid get away without retaliating. Although my son is twice that boys size.. Violence is not in his nature and I had to explains that to him. I had to explain to my son that he did nothing wrong. It broke my heart.
I then went into full mommy mode and reported it to the boys family, but they didn't really seem to care and requested that the boy be "arrested" to teach him a lesson.
I went to the school to see if they would protect my son, and have that boy removed from the bus. I was told that the boy had a right to be on the bus. It seemed that to me that schools really don't want to get involved. My son did not want me to pick him up from school and he felt as he were being punished,...But I had to protect him if the school wouldn't or couldn't.
So as you can see we had a really long year. Well now it back to school again.
How will your school year be? How are you protecting your children?
How can we as parents support each other?

Children's Jewelry

I've been quite a few inquires regarding Children's Jewelry. I hadnt really thought about it before, but I thought hey why not. I thought I would give it a try. I created some new pieces and I will be posting them on the site really soon. Just waiting on my hubby to take the pics for me. He has been pretty busy these days. Anyway.. getting back to the Children's jewerly, I have used many really pretty beads. I found some really nice mother of pearl beads in a variety of shapes and colors. Also some handmade polymer clay charms. So come back soon to check those out!

Create, Reflect and Enjoy!

I really love to create jewelry. It something that really comes from within and it lets me express myself in so may ways. Sometimes I create something fun and flirty, other times something more dramatic and elegeant. Other days...well I just rather forget those.
When creativy starts flowing I can go for days just creating stuff, but then there are times when I just cant get those creative juices flowing. What to do then???
Well what I basically try to do is just not think about. I let it go.. no sense in trying to force it. I also pick up some beading books or magazine and try to study new fashion trends, or new beading items. I think that you dont always have to be creating, sometimes you also have to make time to learn, to reflect, to enjoy that which has already been created. We are not factories just producing one after another, their are so many other things that we can do and still be involved with what drives us. With time I know that eventually something will hit me and I will be creating again. When their is a passion for an art its something, that just doesnt ever go away. I say give it time...it will come back to you.
My latest piece.....
